Alabama Wedding - Travis and Lisa

I met Travis about 10 years ago and I thought he was the coolest guy I'd ever met.  After nine years of knowing him, he finally met the coolest girl.  Travis and Lisa have become two very important people to me, my wife, and our son.  I was honered when they asked me to shoot their wedding.  We met up at Samford University (where they both attended and he proposed) for all portraits and headed down to Woodrow Hall in Birmingham for the ceremony and reception.  Upper Air Creative did the invitations, Studio Flower did the arrangements, and Atomic Cakery handled the deserts at the reception.  It was a dream team of wedding vendors.  Enjoy!

Engagement - Colby and Eva

It's been a while since my last post.  I hate that so many posts start out with that line, but it's true.  This summer has been a busy one shooting, so there's a lot of new posts coming, I promise.

A couple years ago I was introduced to Big Oak Ranch when I shot the wedding of a couple who had grown up at the ranch.  (Big Oak is an incredible organization that provides a home and a family for children needing a chance.  If you don't know about them, please check them out.)  Since then, I've had the opportunity to shoot a couple other weddings from couples that were part of the host families.  The most recent was Colby and Eva.  Colby and his family were one of the many host families at the ranch, and he met Eva while in college.  We shot both the wedding and engagement session at the ranch.  It should be easy to see why I would take the opportunity to shoot at the ranch, any chance I can get.
